VoIP Trunking over Private Circuits - Many customers are replacing, or more commonly partially replacing, their ISDN30 PRI trunks with IP based trunking. The costs saving can be considerable in terms of rental and call charges. VoIP trunking can be delivered over a variety of private circuits dependent on capacity and geographical location. Where low-cost IP circuits may suffer from occasional degradation of quality and availability then PSTN fail-over devices can be employed which offer immediate, in-call switching, to conventional PSTN back-up.
VoIP enabled PBX equipment is becoming more popular and in many cases these can be connected directly to the IP trunk. Where the customer has a conventional PBX then Syntec can offer appropriate gateway equipment.
Syntec has a wide experience in supplying this infrastructure and would be delighted to discuss your needs in more detail.
